- Character: Ryouko Tachi
- Fandom: Nana to Kaoru
- Reason for Being Hated: “Annoying”, bratty, doesn’t take BDSM seriously and only does it as a casual hobby (unlike the main characters), “not a good Sub”, “not as sexy or cute as Nana.”
Found these in the back of my archives. I never uploaded them for some reason!
I’m apprehensive about it; Kaoru really took a step too far this time. Sick or not, angry or not, he should damn well know better than this.
The last time he set up a breather like this one, it was okay (more than okay) because the area was a) dark, b) mostly deserted, c) the conditions were relatively controllable. This time, none of these factors are present. Sending someone into a dangerous situation alone (after what his friends told him, to boot!) isn’t like him at all. :(
But of course, there would be no story if there were no misunderstandings, and no character is truly real without flaws.
I wasn’t a fan of this storyline at first, but it quickly won me over. Tachi’s dedication to the breather is damn hilarious, and Nana’s dedication to the breather is damn touching. <3
It’s super sweet how much Nana trusts Kaoru without hesitating for even a minute. Of course, that just makes it even worse in this case, because this is the one time that she shouldn’t have.
Nana remembering the 2009 winter special (4 years ago jesus christ how) really helped show why she feels so comfortable doing this. She already did it once and everything was fine, so why not?
And that realization that Kaoru would stand by her no matter what happens? SHIT, RIGHT IN THE FEELS <3
Do remember, this is an extremely subjective game and these are my whacked-out thoughts on it. The message I got from Off is in three parts.
- Don’t let the bad outweigh the good. There may always be spectres, but there is much more to life than them.
- Don’t blindly follow things. That’s what led to you allowing The Batter to succeed.
- Don’t take a baseball bat to your children.
Several weeks ago, two things happened at once. One of those things was that I finished playing through OFF. The other was that I began to read through Freud’s “Civilization and its Discontents” in class. The fact that these things happened so close to one another was really serendipitous, because I think I may or may not have stumbled across a connection between the two that I otherwise would have missed
more people need to draw sugar in colour because i cannot think of a good colour scheme for her to save my life
